Story Synopsis:

Story Synopsis:

'Jumbo' revolves around the life of an elephant - 'Jumbo' (Akshay Kumar), who doesn't know about his father. He is constantly made fun of, by his fellow elephants, since he is 'fatherless'.As Jumbo becomes more and more curious about his father, he is told that he father is a war elephant for the king. In the village, Jumbo meets a beautiful young elephant cow, Sonia (Lara Dutta). Though, initially, he thinks her to be a trickster, love blossoms between the two soon. Some time later, the king calls on elephants for his army and Jumbo finds himself being taken to the palace. There, he finds his mother and tries to break his chains and meet her. In the process, he is seen by the king, who remembers Jumbo from his childhood. He is made the personal war elephant of the king. In the battle, Jumbo meets Bakhtavar, a giant war elephant who killed his father. Now, he has to kill Bakhtavar, not only to avenge his father, but also to get over his own fear.

Story Synopsis:

Sanjay Singhania (Aamir Khan), is a rich businessman who owns a cellular phone company named Air Voice. Kalpana (Asin Thottumkal), an advertisement model goes around telling her advertisement crew that she is the love interest of Sanjay, in spite of her having never met him and also goes to the extent of giving an interview about her relationship to a popular magazine. Kalpana eventually falls in love with him.Once, while on a train to Mumbai, Kalpana saves a group of young girls from abuse by a group of goons led by Lakshman (Pradeep Rawat). After a few days, the same goons come to Kalpana's house in order to avenge their embarrassment. Incidentally, Sanjay arrives at the scene and fights off the goons, but during the ensuing fight, Kalpana is murdered. The irony showcased is that Kalpana never finds out that he is Sanjay. Lakshman then strikes the downcast Sanjay on his head severely with a metal rod. Sanjay survives the blow, but acquires anterograde amnesia because of the trauma of his brain injury. At any given time, he does not remember anything that happened more than 15 minutes back, although he frequently has flashbacks of Kalpana's murder. He determines to take revenge on those responsible for Kalpana's death. The rest of the story is about how Sanjay, along with a medical college student Sunita (Jiah Khan), goes about finding Lakshman and the goons.

Dil Kabaddi' centers on the life of two couples, comprising of Samit (Irrfan Khan) - Mita (Soha Ali Khan) and Rishi (Rahul Bose) - Simi (Konkona), whose post-marital ennui forces them to look at the other options that the life offers. At such a point of time, the temptation for an extramarital affair seems to be too much to snub. Samit is a philanderer, who feels proud of his conquests and experimentations outside marriage. His wife, Mita suffers at the hands of her adulterous husband.At the other end of the spectrum are Rishi and Simi. Here, the former tries to make consistent efforts, even walk the extra mile, just to move over his monogamous status and indulge in a spicy affair. Simi, his wife, is still trying to decide whether an 'extramarital affair' is her cup of tea or not. So, here we have a couple in which one partner is desperate and the other, confused. Samit and Mita's life takes a turn when Kaya enters their life and ends up spicing up the goings-on quite a bit.
