Story Synopsis:

Nandu (Bobby Deol) is an orphan, who ends up becoming an assassin. One day, he gets accused of killing a politician, even though he is completely innocent. In his efforts to run from the police, he ends up in a train. It is here that he meets Shekhar (Pradeep), who is going back to his home after a gap of fourteen years. Somehow, police manages to trace Nandu in the train. In order to catch him, the police officers shoot at Nandu. The shot which was aimed at Nandu ends up killing Shekhar, who tries to save the former. As promised to Shekhar, Nandu goes to the latter’s home, in his village, to return his grandfathers watch and also break the news of his Shekhar’s death. The problem begins when Shekhar’s family take Nandu to be Shekhar.Here, he also meets Preet (Shriya Saran), the daughter of Shekhar's grandfather's friend. Story Synopsis:

Sanjay Singhania (Aamir Khan), is a rich businessman who owns a cellular phone company named Air Voice. Kalpana (Asin Thottumkal), an advertisement model goes around telling her advertisement crew that she is the love interest of Sanjay, in spite of her having never met him and also goes to the extent of giving an interview about her relationship to a popular magazine. Kalpana eventually falls in love with him.Once, while on a train to Mumbai, Kalpana saves a group of young girls from abuse by a group of goons led by Lakshman (Pradeep Rawat). After a few days, the same goons come to Kalpana's house in order to avenge their embarrassment. Incidentally, Sanjay arrives at the scene and fights off the goons, but during the ensuing fight, Kalpana is murdered. The irony showcased is that Kalpana never finds out that he is Sanjay. Lakshman then strikes the downcast Sanjay on his head severely with a metal rod. Sanjay survives the blow, but acquires anterograde amnesia because of the trauma of his brain injury. At any given time, he does not remember anything that happened more than 15 minutes back, although he frequently has flashbacks of Kalpana's murder. He determines to take revenge on those responsible for Kalpana's death. The rest of the story is about how Sanjay, along with a medical college student Sunita (Jiah Khan), goes about finding Lakshman and the goons.

However, the Joker has switched the locations, sending Batman after Dent and Gordon after Dawes. Story Synopsis:

A regular cop story, the movie begins with Sathyam (Vishal) who is a tough cop and an honest one too. He is an ACP and believes that law and order must be maintained at all times, however he is more of a peace lover and strongly believes that anyone who has done something wrong can be taken to task under the purview of justice and book of law without using any special methods. This also makes him feel repulsive about the encounter methods.However things take a turn when a well known politician (Kota) wants to get on to the chair of the Chief Minister and in this process, he hires a contract killer and gives him a list of names that have to be killed. However, he has a shock of his life when he gets news from the killer that someone else is already on the job without his involvement. Sathyam is given the assignment of nabbing the culprit and finally he manages to arrest Prathap (Upendra) who ironically is an ex cop himself but then he does not believe in the law system since he gets betrayed professionally. The ideology clash between Sathyam and Pratap goes to a peak and then the hero decides to put an end to this by proving his point. Is he successful in his mission? What is the link between Divya (Nayantara) the crime reporter and him? All this forms the rest of the story.
