Story Synopsis:(Remake of Telugu movie, AMAV)
Vasu (Dhanush) is an irresponsible son of a disciplined school teacher(Raghuvaran). He meets Keerthi (Nayantara) in an interview where she is the officer incharge. He is attracted by her beauty. He manages to get a job in the her company and directly reports to her. After a tour to Australia for a project, he feels that he has become close to her and he confidently he proposes her. But he is shocked to hear that she is already engaged to her cousin and that her weddings is to happen soon.Sympathizing the heart broken and upset Vasu, his father tries to convince Keerthi but she humiliates him in her office in the presence of all the staff.. On the same night, Vasu's father dies of a heart-attack. a depressed Vasu decides to go with his friend (Karthik) to his village where he is getting married. As expected (by the viewers!), Karthik's would -be is none other than Keerthi.
